Hey โ We're Jordan & Taylor ๐ช
A trainer and a physical therapist who believe fitness should empower you โ not intimidate you.
How Fit Pulse Started
Jordan was a personal trainer at a big-box gym when he noticed a pattern: clients would come in motivated, follow a cookie-cutter program for three weeks, get overwhelmed or injured, and quit. The programs weren't bad โ they just weren't built for real people with real schedules, real limitations, and real lives outside the gym.
Taylor, a licensed physical therapist, saw the other side: patients rehabbing injuries caused by poor form, too much volume, or workouts they found on random fitness accounts. They realized there was a massive gap between "hardcore gym content" and practical, safe, effective fitness guidance. Fit Pulse was built to fill that gap โ workouts that actually work, explained by people who actually understand the body.
Meet Jordan
Jordan is a NASM-certified personal trainer and sports performance coach based in Denver. He spent five years training clients in-person before going full-time on Fit Pulse. He designs the workout routines, writes the exercise guides, and films the demonstration videos. His training philosophy is simple: consistency beats intensity, and the best workout is one you'll actually do. Outside the blog, he coaches a local running club, plays recreational basketball, and is trying to finally master a handstand.
Meet Taylor
Taylor is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who specializes in sports rehabilitation and movement analysis. She brings the clinical expertise โ ensuring every exercise on Fit Pulse is performed safely with proper form cues. She writes the recovery guides, stretching routines, and injury prevention content. Her mission is to help people move better before they move harder. When she's off the clock, she's practicing yoga, hiking Colorado's fourteeners, or experimenting with mobility drills she finds in obscure research papers.
What We Stand For
- Form before everything. We'd rather you do 5 perfect reps than 50 sloppy ones. Quality movement is non-negotiable.
- No gatekeeping. All workouts free, all progressions explained. Fitness knowledge shouldn't be behind a paywall.
- Real bodies, real results. We don't use fitness models. We show real movement with real form cues.
- Rest is productive. Recovery content gets as much attention as workout content. Your body grows when it rests.
Off the Mat
Jordan and Taylor are based in Denver, Colorado, where the altitude makes everything feel 20% harder (they like it that way). They spend weekends hiking, trail running, and exploring the state's incredible outdoor fitness scene. They host a free monthly community workout in a local park and partner with physical therapy clinics to create accessible movement content for underserved communities.
